The Pennsylvania State Police is in the process of reviewing the registration files.  Citizens on the registry may see their registration requirement reduced to a ten-year term, remain as a lifetime registrant, or terminated. The Pennsylvania State Police is mailing correspondence to the affected registrants to explain the new requirements.
